Amidst a busy weekend of racing at the fantastic National Schools Regatta (more to come from us on that shortly), the GB team had some fantastic results at the European Junior Rowing Championships in Gravelines, France.
Whilst most of the UK are busy getting prepared for the National Schools Regatta, a six-strong team of scullers are travelling to Gravelines in Northern France to the compete at the European Junior Rowing Championships.
Last weekend, a group of 51 juniors from across Great Britain raced in the annual GB v France Match which this year took place near Paris. The event was held at the Paris 2024 Olympic Rowing venue, and despite the ongoing construction work (no flushing toilets or running water for some) the trip was certainly memorable.
Racing gets into full swing today at the Coupe de la Jeunesse held at the National Rowing Centre in Cork, Ireland. Here's an insight into the Junior women's sweep team...
