The dreaded final week of training is upon crews racing at School's Head next week, and Reading University Head's 4.6km course provides an excellent last race to test those race tactics and possibly see how crews will stack up on the Tideway.

Each regatta has a different amount of reading for coxes and bowmen before their race, NSR is no different. The website can be quite hard to navigate and it's not always clear what you need to read, and what you don't.

With the head season swiftly behind us, National School’s Regatta hastily closes in, with only 6 weeks to go til the pinnacle of the season for most junior crews. In this article we will be exploring the major changes to the competition's framework which was brought about in late February and has caused certain controversy between junior rowers, coaches and spectators alike.

The regatta season is officially underway after this weekend at BASHER, and with Wallingford Regatta coming up soon, thoughts are swiftly moving to National School’s Regatta. With only 4 weeks left to go before the biggest race of the year for most J15 crews, the big questions are starting to be asked. Who will be this year’s J15 8+ Champion?
